Friction Torque Limiter With Conical Spring Washer

The torque limiter is activated when the setting torque exceeds teh calibration torque.During the torque peak limiting phase,the clutch continues to transmit power.The clutch is useful as a safety device to protect against load peaks and to start machines with high ratational inertia.It is recommended to ensure that the srtting value is correct to aviod excessive heating f the friction discs (insufficient setting) or clutch seizing(excessive setting).
